Sparky’s Services Ltd was established in 2007 by Mark Bullent, who had over 25 years of experience in the electrical industry. Having previously managed large-scale projects and other tradesmen, he decided to enter the electrical business independently. The company has since grown steadily and is now a successful enterprise. Sparkys Services Ltd started back in 2007 and we now have the following employees:
- Lewis Moyse joined in May 2013 and is a fully qualified electrician and a QS for the company
- Jack Moyse joined in November 2014 and is a fully qualified electrician and is now helping in the office side off things doing invoicing and quoting and a QS for the company
- Joe McIntosh joined in April 2018 and is now a fully qualified electrician with his C&G 2391
- Amanda Soanes Joined in March 2021 and is the Office Manager
- Ben Smith: Joined in September 2023 and is a fully qualified electrician
- Harvey Larner has recently joined us as an Apprentice
Apprenticeships are a significant part of my company as all my employees began their working lives in this capacity. I believe they provide mutual benefits and that I also contribute to their development. The current job market presents limited opportunities for young people and apprenticeships offer a stable career path that can provide a livelihood or serve as a stepping stone to further advancement.
Our operations are based in the village of Runham in Norfolk. A significant portion of our work is conducted in the Great Yarmouth borough area, with additional projects in the Norwich, Beccles and Lowestoft regions.
We are registered with the NICEIC and fully PART P registered. We are domestic installers and approved contractors. We are compliant with the 18th edition amendment 3 and undertake all notifiable electrical work. I have also been welcomed as a Trust Mark member.
We undertake a wide range of electrical jobs, we do full re-wires, consumer unit changes, mains interlinked smoke detectors, additional sockets and lights, changing a fuse, changing lights, switches and showers. We do full tests and certificates, electrical installation condition reports visual inspections and landlord certificates. We also do conservatory work, extensions and heating wiring. We also do fault finding. As you can see if it is electrical, we do it.
We work a lot for the local estate agents, doing landlord certificates and any electrical work to make the certificates compliant.
